SYNGENTA HUDDERSFIELD MANUFACTURING CENTRE
Turnkey Control Room Renovation
Client: Syngenta Huddersfield Manufacturing Centre
The Challenge
Syngenta’s Huddersfield Manufacturing Centre required a complete control room renovation to modernise the facility, improve workflow, and create a more effective working environment for site personnel.
As a key manufacturing location producing crop protection products that support global agriculture, the project needed to be delivered within a highly regulated COMAH environment, requiring careful planning, coordination, and attention to safety.
The challenge was to deliver a fully coordinated transformation, managing every stage from initial strip out through to final completion, while minimising disruption and ensuring every detail was delivered to the highest standard.
The Solution
DJ Byers engineered a complete turnkey control room renovation, managing the full project from initial planning and coordination through to final handover.
Working closely with site teams, the project included coordinated strip out, refurbishment works, installation, finishing details, and final commissioning.
Every element was carefully considered and delivered as one complete solution, ensuring the upgraded environment met the operational requirements of the site while providing an improved workspace for the personnel who rely on it every day.
The Result
The completed control room provides Syngenta with a modern, efficient, and improved operational environment designed around the needs of the people who use it every day.
Delivered ahead of schedule and to a high standard, the project demonstrates DJ Byers’ ability to manage complex turnkey installations within live industrial environments, combining detailed coordination, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering complete solutions from initial concept through to completion.
