The infra-red driven sensor is surrounded by a circular frame with LED lights, which glow red in standby mode, drawing attention to the door release button’s location. As soon as a hand or object is placed in front of the unit for door release, the illumination changes to green, making it easy for users to notice and safely exit.
The unit is crafted from high-quality stainless steel and designed to fit on a standard single-gang pattress. Additionally, a surface mount kit is available free of charge, allowing for easy retro-fitting of the device onto existing door installations to facilitate contactless exits.
